Chevening is the UK government’s global scholarship programme that offers future leaders the unique opportunity to study in the UK.
Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, these scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from over 160 countries and territories to pursue one-year master’s degrees in any subject at any UK university.
Chevening Scholars have ambition, leadership potential, a strong academic background, and an excellent record of rising to prominent positions in their countries across a range of fields.
The number of scholarships for Algeria has increased in recent years. In 2015 six Chevening scholars studied in the UK compared to eight in 2017.
